Now, this is kinda my favorite page of the whole site,
'cause it's about me. AAAAAAAALLLLLLL about me! Here I
get to talk about myself and nothing else. It's
wonderful!
My name is Martine Carlsen and - yes - I am the "Carlsen" of carlsenCards.com. In
other words I am THE "Carlsen". And that's all there is; ME!
carlsenCards.com is just me. I do everything; the cards, this site, the music, I even vacuum the
floor of my office (which is in my living room!).
When I work on my eCards, I'm my own boss and my own employee, and I REALLY like
working for me. Boss-me is understanding, nondemanding and tolerant!
And employee-me is hardworking, flexible and - well -
cheap! Boss-me and employee-me have the best
boss-employee relationship on the planet. We get along
so well. Agree on everything. Never argue! Working for
me is THE BEST!
Actually I do have one more employee, and it would
really hurt his feelings if I didn't mention him; my
wonderful iMac Core 2 Duo 3,06 GHz. His name is Ping Guo Dian Nao, which means Apple Computer in Chinese (I gave him a Chinese name, because he came from China!), and he's a good employee, too! Couldn't do
my job without him. Literally!
There's one more thing I have to mention. Well,
actually TWO things. These are not employees, but they
do help me in my work. They inspire me, they calm me
down when I'm stressed (that has been known to happen
: ) ), and they make my life a happier one just by
BEING THERE. I'm of course talking about my two cats.
You thought I was going to say CHILDREN, didn't you?
Well, they ARE my children, and that's just the way it
is!
